After a excellent workout, cool down: Some outside Qigong and stick flow in the cold.

Each new day is a new opportunity to improve yourself. Take it and make the best of it. I want to take the opportunity at this difficult time of COVID-19, social distancing and no possibilities to train with someone, to concentrate on my personal health, strength and mind. So I am in good shape for myself, my family and when I finally will reopen my doors for you! Stay strong and healthy and take care of your loved ones!

A quote from the movie Act of Valor (2012) Lieutenant Rorke: Before my father died, he said the worst thing about growing old was that other men stopped seeing ...you as dangerous. I've always remembered that, how being dangerous was sacred, a badge of honor. You live your life by a code, an ethos. Every man does. It's your shoreline. It's what guides you home. And trust me, you're always trying to get home" There are few martial arts that can grow old with you. Speed, power, stamina, endurance, flexibility are just some of the things tbat can fade with age. But in Filipino Martial Arts , the understanding and use of weapons can overcome some of lacking physical attributes that other arts require to be effective. So in many ways, you will always be dangerous. In a way...you may not "grow old"? Here is one example of the Late Grandmaster Filemon "Momoy" Canete. Eldest of the famed Doce Pares clan. He taught and trained up to his 90s and till the time of his passing. These are not uncommon things in the world of Filipino Martial Arts. Here are some clips shared to me from one of my teachers Tom Bisio who taught me this beautiful system.

Interesting point of view from Adam Chan. In my opinion, martial arts training takes time, discipline and patience. Yes it is sometimes difficult and hard. But it’s worth it! https://youtu.be/a5Tv3L7ro2A
