Lacombe Yogis December Challenge Day 18 One week until Christmas! This year, like all other years, I asked for my little family together for a moment. This year, unlike most years, it will actually happen. Things are not normal in my home but for a moment, I am going to sit on my couch, drink my coffee in my pjs and try to be fully present in the moment. This time of year (or any time of year actually) can be hard for many. Check in on your loved ones or anyone who you fe...el may be going through something. Often those that need support are not able to ask for it (do not believe that if they wanted help, they would ask, people often can not ask when they need it the most). A little hey, thinking of you can make a big difference. Pose: Viparita Karani or Legs up the Wall Mantra: I am _____ (strength, peace, loved, your word of choice) repeat for as many deep breaths as you can. Maybe set a timer if new to meditation. Start with 30 seconds, adding time to each session as you incorporate meditation into your life. Task: Reach out or connect with those you care about.
