LOVE this kitchen. For so many reasons. The layout, the mood, the soapstone counters (!!), the fact that my pals @designstrom designed it, the fact that it belongs to a freind of mine and also because it is a perfect space to show off our much loved PYRA series wares! This client asked us not to lacquer or seal the bronze to allow for natural patina and oxidization. As a lover of all things bronze, this brings me great joy! It all just works so well together. Did you know that each piece of hardware we send out is hand polished, then lacquered and waxed by me, Shayne Fox? Sometimes this task takes me way into the wee hours. I might be just about ready to pass on this labour of love. Maybe. I think it’s when I do my best thinking oddly. Like a meditation.
