Martron was launched out of the basement of Marty's father's basement back in 1996. His father, Thomas Fisher, was the one who came up with the name as Marty was struggling to find one. Martron's name comes from combining Marketing + Electronics. In 2005, the plan shifted. Marty wanted to distance himself from the brand, as many people mistook the name Martron to be a play on Marty's name. Marty wanted a name that would align better with the brand goals. In his own words, Marty explains: "Brand is what people say about you when you're not in the room." Since many people continue to Work From Home , we've come up with 5 tips to help you feel good physically & mentally. 1 Get dressed and ready for the day - This helps you prepare for the tasks ahead and puts you in a framework to work. Staying in your PJs all day can make you feel sluggish and not accomplish much. So get dressed and tackle your day! 2 Set up a designated work area - We know that not everyone has the space to have a room in their house where t...hey can close the door, but as much as possible try to separate your work life from your home life. If you have to work at your dining table during the day, make sure to tidy and tuck it away when your workday ends and your personal home life begins. 3Stand up at least every hour and do a few stretches - Working from home means there are usually fewer reasons to get up, so make sure that you stand up at least every hour, take a little walk around the house, go up a flight of stairs or even do a few jumping jacks or just get a glass of water. The change of scenery, the break from your monitors and getting your blood moving will help you concentrate MORE when you get back to your desk. Our bodies weren't meant to sit down all day, so do your body a solid and stand up! 4Stay hydrated - Our bodies need water and sometimes we forget or get distracted and don't drink the recommended amount of water. Bonus drinking more water means you get up more to use the washroom, this helps you knock off tip #3 at the same time - You're welcome! 5Get Outside - Since you don't have to leave your house to go to work, you could probably spend days without leaving your home. Make a point to get outside! a 10-minute walk can do wonders for your mind, sharpen your concentration or just help you figure out life's big mysteries. The fresh air will help you sleep better, plus you'll get some vitamin D! These are just a few ways you can feel better while working from home.
