KIDS CORNER ANNOUNCEMENT: HALLOWEEN! Happy Tuesday, everyone! Kids Corner will be available by Friday this week, because we will be making a Halloween-themed craft! In case you need to get any of the materials ahead of time, here are the supplies needed: a paper plate (green or any colour), scissors, glue or tape, construction paper (black or any colour), a marker, and googly eyes*! Also- a popsicle stick (optional.) -T.... *You can get googly eyes at the dollar store, or you can simply draw eyes on white paper and cut them out!

Some of our United in the Park kids have things from yesterday's kids corner to share with us! Bailey chose to draw "L" for love. Halle says H is her favourite for happy and flowers make her happy, too. Thanks, Bailey and Halle!

Friends, these times continue to be challenging for all of us. If you are experiencing anxiety, sadness, stress, depressed mood, noticing yourself slipping into... habits you don’t like to cope, or if you’d simply like to talk and learn some new skills, please join us for: Covid Calm on Zoom, Sunday, September 27 at 7pm. During this session, there is no pressure to share anything unless you feel comfortable doing so. We will use elements of cognitive behaviour therapy to explore how our thoughts can influence how we feel and what we do; how to challenge our own unhelpful or negative beliefs; learn some emotion-regulation tools and, of course, some mindfulness techniques. If you are interested, please email Rev Terrie or message here (only Terrie and Kurt see messages sent to Ministers UITP account) to let her know as there will be materials emailed to you prior to the session.
