I wish I could tell you when classes will begin again. We’re currently under extended closure protocols for at least another 2 weeks; meaning we’re now looking longingly at February for a class start in 2021. Stay safe and stay tuned

Not so great when you begin to resemble your furniture While we wait to begin classes again, (info on that hopefully soon) get up and safely go do something!

2020 has pushed our limits and our resiliency in so many unexpected ways. As you will recall this mad year started early at SherYoga with a fire and then, of course, restoration and renovation of the whole studio space. The studio was about to open when COVID-19 closed us all. We reopened in October only to close again in November and now here we are still closed and about to celebrate the holidays. For a year that seems to have taken forever to pass, I’m a little surprised... it can be pretty much summed up in 3 small sentences. As we all know, Alberta is under another COVID-19 closure that will take us through the holidays and into the new year. The COVID situation in Alberta and across the country is critical and although being closed is not ideal nor what any of us want, this is our reality. With vaccine hopes on the horizon and with each of us continuing to do our part, we can be hopeful that our families and communities will once again be safe from this virus and that the craziness that is this year will be in our rear view! The Studio will remain closed until the AB Gov't and AHS can reassess the health crisis in our province. As indicated, this will happen on or about mid January 2021. The SherYoga New Winter Session 2021 will begin once we have been given the all clear. Check the website for further information. The holidays will be different this year with so many of us making alternate plans. Although we cannot be physically together we do remain connected in so many other ways. I am thinking of you and wishing you all well and as always, I am only ever an email away. My very best to you, Merry Christmas!

Hey Gang! So it appears that, upon receiving updated regulations from the Provincial Gov’t, having already reduced class capacity, the closure measures outlined previously do not include us. Low-intensity and/or non-aerobic activities such as yoga up to 5 people, including instructor are exempt from the previously announced mandated closures. Covid Update!!!!! As you may have heard, we, and by we I mean all yoga studios, gyms and other facilities offering group fitness classes, have been mandated closed by Alberta Health Services and the AB Gov’t for the next 2 weeks. So, we are now closed from Nov 13 - 27. Classes will resume as scheduled on Nov 30, unless of course we receive further instruction.
