This ad has been up a while and it seems We are looking for a New Kennel attendant for the weekends and odd shifts when available. One who will take care of day to day operations for our dogs, kennel and grounds up keep. A mature, responsible, and most important reliable person. For this unique job, the person should be fit enough to lift 30 40 dog bags, bails of shavings. Should have a caring nature for dogs but also needs to be in charge of the dogs and stern at times. These are German Shepherd dogs. A list of tasks would be the daily feeding and watering, letting out, stall cleaning, pressure washing, poop pickup, puppy care, kennel & Office clean and helping owners with various tasks. A right hand person. We are extremely busy and need a hard working person at times. After the daily routine is done it is the fun stuff, spending time with dogs and puppies, caring for them etc This job is not for everyone. We are willing to train this willing individual. Experience is an asset for sure, but a good worker and attendant is most important. We are a family owned business and have a very warm atmosphere to work in. We work sometimes as a team or if busy we need that individual to eventually be able to handle everything as if we were not there. We need a trustworthy person who we can feel safe with when we are out. Hours. 15- 30 hours a week. Starting Pay will be according to experience but will start at $14 an hour. Transportation is essential to get to and from work and or run small errands, dog food pick up etc. Licence also required to sometimes drive our vehicle.
