Brahmacharini is also known as Tapascharini, Aparna, and Uma. The form of Goddess Brahmacharini signifies love, loyalty, wisdom, and knowledge. The facade of Maa Brahmacharini symbolizes simplicity. She holds a rosary in one hand and a Kamandal in other. Maa Brahmacharini, the word Brahm refers to Tapa and her name means -the one who performs Tapa. Maa bless us all ! Jai Mata Di

MAA SHAILPUTRI : 1st day of Navratri The first day of Navratri is dedicated to worshipping Goddess Maa Shailputri, also known as Shilaputri who is described in the scriptures as the daughter of mountains. The Term ‘Shila’ means rock or mountain and the second half ‘Putri’ refers to ‘daughter’. Shilaputri is said to be highly effulgent like crores of suns and moons. She rides on a bull (Nandi) and carries a trident and lotus in her hands. She wears a moon on her forehead. The favorite flower of Shilaputri is Jasmine. Therefore, worship the Goddess with Jasmine flowers. Maa Bless us all..Jai Mata Di
