Hey Shuswap! We're starting to feel a little FESTIVE Last holiday season, we gave a very lovely and deserving family a new hot water tank. We know that this ...year has been tougher than most for a lot of people, so we are more than happy to provide another family with one this year! This GIVEAWAY will include one new 40 gallon hot water tank (gas or electric), including all installation labour, materials, permit and disposal of your previous tank. Nominate a friend who could use a new hot water tank by private messaging us their name, and why you'd like to nominate this person. Anyone is eligible, as long as they live in the Shuswap. This giveaway is open until Christmas Eve (closes on Christmas at midnight), and our winner will be announced on December 27th. Please note that, for practical reasons, this giveaway is subject to an inspection of the job site. *How to tell if you need to replace your hot water tank: (1) It is more than 12 years old (2) Any signs of rust (3) A shortage of hot water (4) Strange noises coming from the tank (5) Leaks!

Shuswap Small Business Saturday! In these crazy times I thought it might be fun to share the love of some of our favourite small businesses we are so lucky to live where we do and have such a variety of small businesses to choose from. It’s so hard to choose just one (for today) but I’ll start with Frankie’s because.... well, you can’t go wrong with pizza yesterday they debuted their cauliflower crust pizza you need to try this! Who ever dropped this off please come and pick it up or pay me the $40 fee. I’m sick and tired of people dropping items off I have to pay to dispose of. I’m done being nice, a lot of people lately have been dropping stuff off without permission. We deal with household recycling ONLY. Steve
