MISSING It may have been a little weathered, a bit beat up, but it was ours. And it was displayed for everyone to experience and learn from. Someone, however, t...hought it may be better featured in their private collection? There is no dial-a-porpoise-skull. We can’t buy one on Amazon (though we wouldn’t try, we’d shop local!). So, we’ll just be right here, a little sad about this turn of events. (or if someone would like to return it no questions asked, we’d really like that).

This idea on Wayblaze I found interesting. For those of you unfamiliar with what way blaze is, it is a site that the town of Sidney is using to gather ideas for the OCP. Since you are already on facebook, use your facebook login to access the Wayblaze site and like ideas or comment on them. For example, this idea by FB Warner, I like, because as a person who walks along/ crosses Resthaven to visit various destinations. I feel that there is a lot of speeding of vehicles. Also, he has a point, the Mills, Siddall, Bowerbank set of roads is also unsafe for people walking along those streets. This is due to the lack of a cohesive street network that forces people to use these streets.

OCP background questions. Two good ones. Local Government Question: Due to the economic downturn, Sidney will be under pressure to limit tax increases. To what extent will the Town of Sidney be able to include OCP recommendations in Annual Budget/Five Year Capital Plan?... Question: What is the process for collaboration with the other Peninsula municipalities as endorsed by Council at its August 17 meeting?

OCP backgrounder question. Work Question: If residents are working from home rather than commuting, will land use policies need to change to accommodate small commercial areas in neighbourhoods e.g. coffee shops... https://www.conferenceboard.ca/insights/covid-19 https://www.vancouverisawesome.com//canadians-expect-more-
