SIMCOE COUNTY DIVISON LEAGUE PLAY POSTPONED. With the Province of Ontario announcement that Simcoe county has moved into the "Red - Conbtrol Zone", we will have to postpone division play for our Simcoe County divisions effective Dec 14th. Hopefully we can restart these divisions the week of January 11th.

Our 9 Ball World Pool Qualifier is scheduled for Nov 27, 28, 29. We will continue to monitor Covid regulations, we're hopeful that the event goes ahead but please keep in mind that it may be postponed (due to further restrictions or lockdown). Note that the WPQ environment will be drastically different than years past. All Playsafe protocols will be strictly enforced. All matches are spread out so everyone can comfortably socially distance. All equipment will be sanitiz...ed between rounds. Hand sanitizer stations will be present throughout venues and capacity restrictions will be upheld. Below is a list of the qualified teams that are eligible for the event. First time in 8 years I'm not freezing cold, setting up pool tables in Niagara Falls for the Border Battle event. I look forward to this event every year and have some incredible memories from it. Of course it's 17 degrees and sunny outside today. Missing all the incredible people who help me pull it off. Hopeful we can make it happen in 2021.

2020 Fall Draft Masters session gets underway this Sunday @ Poolhub. Ever thought about playing Masters league? The Draft Masters format provides an opportunity to all players, regardless of ability, to play the Masters format with the Equalizer Handicap system in place to level the playing field. Our Masters Draft League will plays weekly on Sunday nights at 7pm. The Fall session begins this Sunday (October 29th) with playoffs mid February (we'll take a break over the hol...idays). Draft Masters uses the Masters format, playing both 8 Ball and 9 Ball in the same match. Counting only wins, no innings or safeties to worry about. Jump Cues are allowed and Push Outs are permitted in 9 Ball. Race to your handicap, so if a skill level 7 plays a skill level 3, it's a race to 7 but the skill level 3 starts with 4 wins. So.....even if the 7 wins 7-0, the 3 still gets 4 points for their team. The division is limited to only 8 or 9 teams with 4 players on each team. Spots are limited so arrive early and sign up this Sunday. Note: Returning players (who played the last session) will be given first opportunity to sign up.
