With @defencsopticsgroup As promised, here are some photos of the RMA NIJ Certified Level IV Armour Plate Shoot we held today. Special thanks goes to a local tactical unit that was kind enough to come out and take the time to shoot some armour piercing ammo for us and let us use their facility, it was greatly appreci...ated. First plate was hit by three 308 AP rounds at 100m, no penetration. Second plate was hit with three heavy 308 rounds at 100m and 2 x 7.62 X 39, 123 gr SST Steel Case from 25m . 25m!! NO penetration. Poor old BOB had a bit of a rough day but he made it home with as many holes as he started the day with! The 7.62 x 39 was fired with our prototype S&J-15, nice to get it to the range again.
