As terrible as this pandemic is, at least I'm afforded more time to feed my inner life. I hope you can feed yours too.

Because of the Covid-19 Pandemic, sadly this year’s Highland Games event is cancelled.

It has been a whirlwind and a labour of love preparing for the Festival of Guest Nations after joining the Board a month or so ago....

The new owners of Explore Pelee wanted a new look....I look forward to seeing this everywhere. Like all my logo designs, I loved working on this.

Working on various elements for the Highland Games, I was honoured to design the label for the collaborative brew for the 3 Kingsville Breweries: The Banded Goose Brewing Company, The Grove and Kingsville Brewery. It will be available at the Kingsville Highland Games and later at The Grove and Banded Goose.@grovebrew Hope to see you all at the Games on June 22!

My Highland Games logo design is being translated into many mediums...the most recent is as gold, silver and bronze medals. Enter the Highland Games 5k Kilt Run, and you could win one.

Another Celtic logo design...this one more specifically Irish. I love designing logos! Look for this one printed or embossed on books.

The Kingsville Highland Games logo in chocolate- made by the talent Dutch Boys (formerly Old Dutch Guys) Chocolate. I have not been able a eat a logo before I have designed before!!

Another element for the Highland Games!

I was honoured to design the new logo for the Kingsville Highland Games..what a great event it will be! I remember the last was 30 years ago or so. We lived by Lakeside Park and enjoyed every second of the music and the games. I will keep posting as more events come available.

Graphic Gourmet has been busy working on various elements of Stone House 1891- from rack cards, to menus to graphics to photography. I hope you can all come over to Pelee Island for the Stone House 1891 experience.

Here is one of my new designs for the Jack Miner outdoor gallery this year. I had 2 banners up last last year. Although there is no compensation, it is fun to drive through town and see your artwork from both directions!

More than 20 years ago I designed this logo for the WE care for kids Foundation. I was involved in the campaign to raise funds for paediatric equipment for all 3 local hospitals. Over the years, this organization has grown and I saw on the news that this year, they raised MORE THAN $400,000, which prompted this post. CONGRATULATIONS to all who work so hard for this worthy cause!

Notecards & postcards will soon be available at Point Pelee and hopefully other small shops in the area. The water colours will be part of the Flock Fest Show celebrating birding at the gallery. It has been so busy lately, I am relieved to finally be at the framing and packaging stage. Big sigh of relief!

For the last few years I start the new year consumed by work for the Boston Seafood Show. Below are pictures of the large display panels for LA based Great American & Southwind Seafoods. There were corresponding POS. Displayed are the new panels from this year as well as the red, white and blue panels from last year.

Where have the years gone? I just did the 2015 Christmas card for shipbuilder Hike Metal and realized this was the 10th year in a row I highlighted a yearly project of theirs for their card. Here they are all together- quite a portfolio of beautiful boats!

After a week away, I finally got to see the Southpoint Sun article about the new BIA banners. What a great group to work with.

Although I am involved mainly in the food industry (the reason for the name Graphic Gourmet) I thought it would be fun to share some non-food related recent projects. There is much to celebrate in our community!

Very soon the Leamington BIA will have banners I designed to reflect the unique aspects of our community and unify the uptown area. Part of the process was developing a logo and slogan to to be used on clothing , bags and storefronts. I really enjoyed working with them on this project.
