The Bow & Arrow. Great mobility exercise to perform before any workout or just by itself. I like to do these before any workout that involved my upper body, this exercise mobilizes the shoulders, the spine, the hips all through various movements. I like to perform 5 reps each side. Barbell deadlifts! I see people everyday performing these incorrectly. Anyways its a great exercise for developing full body strength and power if performed correctly.... The technique: -Plant feet firmly in the floor I prefer in line with the hips -Core tight -Hips back -Chest up and shoulders back -Bar close as possible to the body at all times -Perform 2-4 sets can be anywhere from 3-15 reps! #skylerfitness #personaltraining #personaltrainer #bodybuilding #strength #muscle #health #fitness #exercise #abbotsford #abbotsfordreflex

Alternating Dumbbell Front Shoulder Raises! Great exercise for building strength and muscularity in the deltoids! The technique: -strong athletic stance (feet shoulder width apart, depress shoulders, core tight and chest up!)... -start with the dumbbells in a vertical position and as you go through the movement rotate to a horizontal position. -perform 3 sets 12 reps a side! #skylerfitness #personaltrainer #abbotsford Stay tuned for more!

With this COVID-19 spreading like wildfire, not to mention just the regular flu season, it is so important to support our immune system to protect us! eat pl...enty of fruits and vegetables (especially the leafy greens). drink tons of water - atleast 2-3L a day! eat your protein!!! Whether it be chicken, fish, beef, or chickpeas & beans and tofu for a plant based option. eat probiotic rich foods: yogurt, kombucha, sauerkraut, tempeh. add ginger, garlic and turmeric to EVERYTHING, no but seriously. I've shared the benefits to ginger on my page previously; turmeric and garlic are just as beneficial to help support the immune system especially by reducing inflammation. stress inflames the body and makes us more susceptible to any type of inflammation. staying active helps us sweat out toxins, keeps our body healthy and is also good for our mind by producing healthy endorphins. sleep 7-8 hours a night! Sleep is an important time when our body recovers and repairs itself - do not deprive yourself! And last but not least, WASH. YOUR. HANDS.

What's up everyone! Back at it with the videos! Had alot going on last week so I did not have the chance to release any. Anyways here I have a great exercise for full body strength and stability! Great for developing a stable overhead press and posture!... It's called the KB z-press. The technique: Spike your heels in the floor. Sit with your chest upright and shoulders depress. Hold your abs tight! Perform good quality reps! A minimum of 6 a side. 2 sets will work!
