After a year and a half of practicing time restricted eating, my health is excellent and my weight is exactly where I want it to be ( between 180 and 185 pounds). I'm finding it relatively easy to keep the weight off and I only weigh myself once per week. I have no problem going without food for 15 hours and only eating in a 9 hour window during each day. I don't have to count calories, and during weekends I eat whenever I want without gaining any weight. Give it a try, you might be surprised at how easy it is. Please leave a comment.

I have been practicing time restricted eating for just over a year now with satisfying results. I have abundant energy, weight is exactly where I want it - 180 to 185 pounds without any significant fluctuations, increased muscle tone, less than 10% body fat, optimum blood pressure 119/79, and minimal sick days (3 days of flu like sniffles in Nov, 2018). Time restricted eating takes just a little discipline to reap the rewards and it is sustainable, unlike most heavily market...ed diet plans. You don't have to count calories or restrict yourself on the weekends as long as your consumption is moderate and relatively healthy. If you want to enjoy a nice meal with a dessert on Saturday night with friends, you can without having to worry about sabotaging your health goals. I know at least half a dozen people who are amazed at the success they are having with time restricted eating. My brother, Jim, has lost 25 pounds in just over a year and is looking much healthier compared to previous years(his ponch is shrinking). My sister, Tracy, also put on twenty pounds in the spring of 2018 due to excessive stress, but since practicing time restricted eating, she has lost the 20 pounds of excess in about 3 months. Time restricted eating (not called intermittent fasting) is based on a recent science experiment of thousands of mice in . The cornerstone to this experiment focuses on the mice's circadian rhythm inherent in all animals including humans. The results to this experiment, conducted by Dr. Panda, produced astounding results in mice that had a time restricted diets (8 hour window to eat each day). Mice on the time restricted diet soon became leaner, more muscular, more energetic, and disease free compared to identical mice who consumed the same amount of daily calories, but could eat anytime they wanted. The latter group became, obese, lost muscle mass, had less energy, and were more prone to various diseases and appeared to age quicker compared to the experimental group. If you want to know more, please send me a message or comment. I am keen to chat with you.

Tip #3: Try time restricted eating. Eat only in a 9 hour window each day followed by 15 hours of fasting. The results were impressive for me over the last 3 months: 10% less fat, more stamina, 5% increase in muscle mass without excercising more. Check out the science behind intermittent fasting. Google Dr. Satchet Panda. He calls it time restricted eating not intermittent fasting. Leave a comment.

Health tip #2: Eliminate added sugar in your diet. Refined sugar is toxic to the body and is more addictive than cocaine or Heroine (Dr. Mark Hyman, author of Eat Fat, Get Thin). By kicking the sugar habit, and replacing it with whole foods such as fruit and vegetables, you'll help stabilize your body's blood sugar, which has a myriad of health benefits: - Reduced body fat % - Fewer mood swings - Less cravings and binge eating - Better focus and memory... - More energy and stamina - Better immunity system - less sicknesses - A plethora of other health benefits - too many to mention See more
