Hello November, we hope you surprise us! As we enter into this darker, colder month, it is more important than ever to keep our spirits high, watch over our vulnerable loved ones and follow closely the recommendations of our public health officers. As we approach 8 months of this alternate lifestyle, Slater Vecchio wants to send a special thanks to all the essential workers in the province, who have kept our communities going. So to all the health care workers, long term care associates, those in grocery and agriculture, schools and the businesses offering essential services, THANK YOU. We have not turned the corner yet by any means, but we in British Columbia know what it takes to get to the other side. So stay strong, reach out if you need support and most importantly take care of each other.

2020 has brought about the most trying events in recent human history. From a vicious virus that has torn through the world, to wildfires and racial violence, we have been tested. Now with the passing of our fearless RBG, the battle for a vacant Supreme Court seat is positioned to divide the American way of life. We have stood strong in Canada and weathered the storms. How do you feel 2020 has impacted us as a Nation? We’d love to hear how you’re feeling.
Ruth Bader Ginsberg 1933-2020 A justice on the Supreme Court of the United States for 27 years, this legal, cultural and feminist icon was a leader in the law and a champion for all! She was a jurist of historic stature and will be deeply missed.
What are your thoughts on school/playground speed limits in the greater Vancouver area? This is a hot topic as we send our children back to school. Beginning late 2020, Vancouver City bylaw will be in place to ensure the speed limit remain 30km 24/7. Neighboring municipalities are holding steady and remaining with Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm for slower speeds. Share with us your thought & comments? Should all of BC maintain slower speeds through school zones and playgrounds full time?
All businesses have been impacted by Covid-19. Have you tried to make a claim with your insurance provider? We’re here to help. Contact us today.
Heads up to Vancouver drivers: school and playground zones within the city have a speed limit of 30 km/h. With the start of school fast approaching, please watch out for our most vulnerable citizens. Stay safe, drive safe and take care of pedestrians.
