Update from Fred Mohimann. Earlier today Tim called to say some of you were asking about how I was getting along and encouraged me to put out a post. So here goes. As you likely know, I recently ended five weeks of radiation treatment to shrink a cancerous tumor in my left calf. On July 7th I had an operation to remove the tumor and to cover it with a skin graft. I was discharged on the 13th. About a week later it became apparent that the skin graft was not taking and that th...e area had become seriously infected. I was subsequently readmitted last Tuesday. Since then I've had two procedures to clean and thoroughly disinfect the wound and to apply a new skin graft. I'm currently sedated and under orders to bed rest. The road ahead is a bit unclear just now. Much will depend on whether the new graft takes. Plans are for a relatively longer period of convalescence in hospital before going home. In the meantime, I wish to thank all who have passed on your well wishes. Hospital life, while mostly boring, has some benefits and "interesting" moments. Nursing care is top notch; the food is passable. And today, after going six days without a bowel movement, I had my first encounter with a bedpan. It's one that I hope to avoid, at least until the bedpan offered has at least three times the capacity of the one I used today. I look forward to being in your midst again before too long. Blue skies and tailwinds, Fred

Update on the new hanger on Brovo.

They said nobody will ever build a hangar there (north side of taxiway B & C corner) it will require way too much fill they said. Well now one is underway & second is planned. Both will be 50x60 feet. They will be on the preferred south facing sunny side. CYSH must have the most private hangars in the area, especially large hangars. ... Thanks to Fred Gray for the picture and info.
