My first job in coffee was at Second Cup in NE Calgary - I was an awkward high schooler and remember digging the crew and hustle. I later moved to an indie-shop in Kensington (hip district in downtown Calgary). Again, the crew and culture were electric (and we had the dopest playlists) I learned about coffee and barista skill, but the most vivid and lasting memories are of the people, relationships, and vibe My experience in coffee has always been rooted in connection - with... others and myself.
