#Movember is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of our fathers, brothers, uncles, partners, friends, and all of the other men in our lives. The month-long commitment to #Movember takes on three serious issues facing men's health - prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health. You can support this cause by donating to and promoting the #Movember charity, which has a goal of reducing the number of men dying prematurely from these health issues by 25% by 2030.... Check out www.movember.com for more info! And don't forget to grow out your moustache! #FriendsAndFamilyFriday #Movember #NoShaveNovember #MensHealth #CancerAwareness #MentalHealthAwareness #GrowTheMo

Happy #Halloween from your friends at Sofvie!

Halloween is just about here and that means you'll have some little monsters knocking at your door! Although this Halloween will more than likely be less busy than usual, safety should still be a priority. If you have to go out driving tomorrow evening, make sure to drive slowly through residential areas, and stay aware of your surroundings. You never know when a kid full of sugar will run into the street, and kids are twice as likely to be hit by a car on Halloween as they a...re any other night of the year! If you are handing candy out to the ghosts and ghouls that come to your door, make sure to keep your distance, and wear a mask if possible. You can also use tongs to drop the candy into trick-or-treat bags to lower the amount of contact. If you plan on minimizing your contact with others and choose not to hand out candy, you can keep your porch light off or put up a sign letting others know. Remember, it can be just as fun to spend the night at home with your family eating candy and watching scary movies! #HappyHalloween #Halloween #Safety #TrickOrTreat #FridayFun #FamilyFriday

After yesterday's snowfall, it's time to start thinking about getting those winter tires put on! While you wait for a slot to open up at your local mechanic, here are some tips for winter driving. Stay composed and controlled when it's slippery. Never slam on the brakes when it's snowy or icy, and if you need to stop quickly, pumping the brakes will help you stop faster without sliding. Clear your car of all ice and snow. This will ensure the visibility from the drivers seat ...is clear, as well as taillights and headlights for other drivers to see. Keep a safe distance. Distance between vehicles is key when driving in a snowstorm to make sure you have a reasonable amount of space and time to brake safely. Be very cautious when driving in freezing rain. The chances of losing control of the vehicle on slippery roads and black ice are greater, and it can be more difficult to see. And don't forget to plan ahead to ensure your winter driving safety. This includes staying on main roads, avoiding really bad conditions, and making sure to see and be seen. #WinterDriving #TuesdayTips #Safety #WinterSafety #SnowySeason #DriverSafety
