Starting November 1st we will be switching to our winter hours: Monday - Friday: 9am - 5pm Saturday: 9am - 4pm Sunday: Closed... We hope you have had a great pool season and we will be here all winter to provide hot tub services as well to help plan your 2017 pool install! Come on by!

Pool Closing Tip: Make sure to drain all of your pool equipment (pump, filter, heater, chlorinator, salt system, etc.) when winterizing your pool. If the water is not drained or blown out, the water can freeze over the winter and crack the equipment or plumbing. Using pool anti-freeze at closing can help assure that any remaining water will not cause issues over the winter.

Dazzle Backyard Brands has created a really thorough video on how to properly close your swimming pool. Check it out! This is a great resource for pool owners :)

Pool Closing Tip: If you tend to get a lot of leaves in your pool in the fall, we recommend using a leaf net at closing. The leaf net sits above your tarp winter cover and works as a landing spot for falling leaves. You can then remove and store the leaf net once the leaves have stopped falling. Doing this helps assure those leaves won't make their way into your pool during opening, which would be a costly chemical fix.

Is your water cloudy, green, foamy, filled with algae or just in need of a check-up? Pop by the store for free water testing so we can help you get your water sparkling clear!

Tip Of The Day: Rain water is acidic and can drop the alkalinity and pH in your pool. It is recommended to keep your total alkalinity (TA) between 100-150 and your pH between 7.4-7.6 to help assure these levels do not drop too low after a heavy rainfall. If the pH does drop below 7, the water becomes acidic and corrosive. This can lead to damage to your pool equipment and liner. If we get a heavy rainfall, bring a water sample into our store and we can test and make sure your water is properly balanced! This is a free service we offer our customers.
