Fresh lamb in shop Get it before it’s gone!
People often ask me how I became interested in meat processing and when I think about it, I realize it stemmed from an early interest in cooking. We grew up with meals based around meat that we didn’t sell and vegetables from the garden. This recipe for borscht is a perfect example of that. It starts with stew or ground beef (in this case I used beef cheeks) and adds vegetables from the garden, including cabbage, beets, onion, carrots, dill and garlic. It’s one of the kids favourites
