This ceramic heart is one of the most special pieces of art in our home and I’m not sure whom actually made it. It was in a basket with others outside our Niagara Falls covid testing clinic last March when COVID-19 was so unknown and a bunch of brave doctors, nurses, and cleaning staff stepped up to help. One of those hero’s is my husband Jerry, a nurse that stepped up in March 2020 and jumped into this war against this virus from the beginning. This ceramic heart has sat o...n our island in our kitchen since that day thinking about ever person that has suffered and every person that has helped. Today I listened to Jerry’s concern about how our world is not holding hands and fighting this war against this virus together. We aren’t presently doing well with the number of cases in our area. He is asking all to please help. Keep those masks on your faces, even for one on one get togethers. Please, please keep your social circles as small as you can. 5 to 10 at most, and masks on your face as much as possible. It was a week of planning and meetings. It was a week of thinking about 4 special boys I miss dearly that bought me my beautiful Canadian made leather Roots bag that I carry to every meeting. Stephanie Hutchison my inspirational pens make me smile regularly, I’m coming for a visit soon to squeeze each of my boys. Thursday I presented a new fireplace wall design to a client and I’m happy to say she loved it as much as I do! Time to plan out some trades!... Who’s next!?

For those that know me, know that I’m all about space functionality, finding a deal, retrofitting, and of course adding a little of my spunky creativity to space changes. Well .... This week I have quite a few meetings with clients and a few of my favourite trades. (these wonderful boys put up with my crazy ideas and rambling.) Today one of my favourite plumbers and I had a giggle over this layout! Anyone see what is odd in this picture??... We’re putting the puzzle pieces together on paper for this awesome new kitchen that will be coming soon!!!

It has been a busy few weeks working on the planning and budgeting of a few spaces. I sent a text to my custom cabinet builder asking for shop pictures aka, show me somethingggg for a pick me up! His response: Everything is piled up on each other...looks like chao's to the untrained eye. My response: I don’t care it makes me smile. All the prep work planning, it sometimes feels like a stand still away from seeing any finish spaces for a bit. ... These chaos photos made me smile as to what is to come......... thank you Jimmy.

Tonight we worked on our own bathroom space change and installed the OVE lena smart toilet. A few glasses of wine and a whole lot of giggles the toilet was installed and all functions fully tested. I can’t wait until this bathroom is fully complete and ready to share.
