The Spanky’s BBQ vs Joel Hansen Food Challenge takes place today at 2 pm at our Elora location.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and my hometown of Mount Forest has been running a campaign this month. Mount Forest Downtown’s Gold Bikes for S...imon campaign to raise awareness about childhood cancer and funds for six year-old Simon Edgar-Dickert of Mount Forest who is battling brain cancer. A portion of the funds will also go to Ronald McDonald House Charities. Many businesses throughout the community have placed gold bicycles in front of their stores and have been accepting donations. As well many businesses and individuals have done additional fundraising. On Saturday September 26 Spanky’s BBQ will be set up on Wellington Street at the corner of Main Street from 11am 4pm. My wife’s store, I’m Sooooooo Bad and Spanky’s BBQ are hosting a fundraiser with all proceeds going to the Gold Bikes For Simon campaign. I encourage anyone who would like to go for a nice country drive, enjoy the start of the fall colours and come support the Gold Bikes For Simon with some great food from Spanky’s BBQ and browse through I’m Sooooooo Bad.

Due to the latest Covid 19 restrictions in Ontario the remaining Cruise Nights for 2020 have been cancelled. Spanky's BBQ will be open until Sunday October 11 and encourage all Vintage Car Owners to stop by and enjoy some of Spanky's great food.... Hopefully 2021 will provide the opportunity to host our event.
