As things continue to unfold we will update accordingly. Halifax ComedyFest has been rescheduled to October 28 to 31, 2020. While we’re in the funny business, we take the coronavirus situation very seriously. Given the request made by the provincial health authority to restrict the size of public gatherings in the coming weeks, we all agree that the most responsible thing to do is to postpone. Now in its 25th year, Ha!ifax ComedyFest is nationally televised on CBC. Halifax television producer Geoff D’Eon of Pilot Light Productions says, The comedians, the technicians, the audience - we’re part of the wider community, we’re all in the same big boat. We want to do whatever we can to slow the spread of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia.
