Still not convinced that tele-rehab can really work? Thats ok! Here is a patient perspective! "I had a an appointment with Amy using the clinics new tl-rehab service. I was a little doubtful at first, given that I had never even met Amy, let alone received any services from her, but I am now sold! Amy took me though what my doctor had told me about my condition, and had me do some movements so she could see the issues I was dealing with. Bottom line: Amy exactly nail...ed the problem, told me about the plan she had in mind for me, showed me how to do the exercises she was recommending and made sure I was doing them properly, explaining how these exercises would improve my condition. By the end of the day, she had emailed me my treatment plan along with visuals and a link to the videos. Three days later she checked in to see how I was doing, and I was able to report a 75% improvement. She added on two more exercises to be started in another week or so. We will connect in another week or 10 days, and if I run into and problems before then, I can phone or email her. This is a GREAT service, especially in this time of clinic shutdowns, and Amy is an excellent, perceptive physiotherapist. Actually, I think Id continue to use the tl-rehab service even after the clinics open up again. Thanks so much, Amy! " - Gail See more

With the recent developments in the COVID-19 virus, we wish to keep you informed of the status of our physiotherapy services at Sport Physio Plus. ... Update on our services We are following guidelines outlined by our governing bodies including lOrdre professionnel de la physiothrapie du Qubec, the Fdration des cliniques de physiothrapie du Qubec and the Minister of Health. The OPPQ has recommended that physiotherapy services remain available for URGENT CASES ONLY or for those that require IMMEDIATE CARE during the period between March 16th and March 30th. Physiotherapy services will remain available to patients that require URGENT CARE ONLY and excluding the following situations: -- You present with the following signs/symptoms: fever, cough or difficulty breathing -- You or someone in your household returned from travel abroad on or later than March 12th -- You have been in contact with a person confirmed as having COVID-19 or who is currently under investigation for COVID-19. If you are over 70 years old, the OPPQ suggests rescheduling your appointment at a later time. Also, should you require assistance, we strongly recommend limiting the number of attendants to a minimum to help reduce foot traffic. Continuity of care We are working hard to ensure that we have options available to help maintain continuity in your rehabilitation plan. If we have already assessed you, we may be able to offer you tele-rehabilitation sessions. If this option is of interest to you, please contact us for further details. It is with great excitement that we wish to officially announce that our clinic will now be run under the new name Sport Physio Plus! The name choice highlights our focus on active rehabilitation and ongoing strong collaborative work with our local doctors, sports medicine and orthopedic specialists, pharmacists, kinesiologists, massage therapists and osteopaths among others. In addition, in order to help better meet the growing needs of our future projects and development, my outstanding colleague, Karine Tcholkayan pht, is now a partner and co-owner of Sport Physio Plus Inc. We are very excited to continue to work together to better serve our community. We are so very grateful for the ongoing support from our clients and are looking forward to continuing to strive to give the best possible care to all our patients!
