Hi Vancouver, Each year during the holiday’s The Sports Exchange hosts a fundraiser, donating the proceeds from skate sharpening to the Make-a-Wish Foundation. As a result of the pandemic restrictions, kids in hospital will spend the holiday’s away from many of their friends and family, so this year, more than ever, I am determined to make this fundraiser successful. We are proud to say that in previous years, together, we raise enough money to make at least one child’s wi...sh come true. Unfortunately, as a result of restrictions, hockey has been shut down, so we likely will not be seeing as many of you come down to the shop to get your skates sharpened. However, we do not want this to be the reason that our donations to Make-a-Wish fall short. That is why on top of the proceeds from skate sharpening we will be donating 10% of the proceeds from all gift cards purchased in the month of December. Please come down to the shop, buy your gift cards, get your skate’s sharpened, say hi to Hank the shop dog, support Make-a-Wish and have a lovely holiday. -Ben and Andrew
