Hello Campers! A lovely day it is here at the lake. Just so you are all aware, we wil be turning the water off starting the Tuesday after the long weekend. October 13th we will begin shutdown. Hope everyone is enjoying t the fall!

Good day friends of Sporty's. Here is hoping that today finds you all well. Sporty's Restaurant/Lounge/Take Out/Delivery is a wrap for 2020! Thank you to all that got out, called in, stopped in, and supported us this year and every year for that matter. We do so cherish our Sporty's friends and family and so THANK YOU!!! To all of our fellow business owners, man, that was a ride! Congrats for making the best of what could have been a disaster! ... RV Park and Car Wash will remain open for the next couple of weeks or until Mother Nature makes that decision for us! Stay safe, healthy and look after each other folks. Happy Fall Campers!! Here is some info for you all if you have a seasonal RV here at Sporty's. Based on the weather we are keeping water on for the foreseeable future!! Important; 2021 is lined up with future Camper's, so we need to know if you will be returning. Now we do not mind if you store here and pull out in the spring, but we need to know if your site will be available for 2021. If Camper's decide to pull out in the spring without notice, charges will apply ov...er and above the storage you have already paid. If you have any outstanding invoices, September 30 is your deadline to have them straightened up. Late fees apply. On another note, Sporty's Restaurant, Take Out, and deliver will close this Sunday for the 2020 season. Car wash and mini golf will remain open. We’re Back on Sunday August 30th at Noon! We are thankful and happy to report that our employee who tested positive for Covid 19 is recovering well and off to U...niversity next week! No other staff members have been affected. We will be opening for dine in and take out with the following protocol in place: 1. Masks must be worn when entering the building and when moving about, such as going to the restroom etc... You may remove your mask when you are seated at your table. 2. You must use hand sanitizer on your way into the Wigwam 3. Please treat our staff with kindness as they are doing their best to earn a pay cheque while trying to ensure their safety and yours. 4. MARKET UPDATE We hope everyone is doing well. The Market will run as usual with another rule or two added folks. Sporty’s and all vendors have taken the necessary steps to make it safe for all. Friday Nights at Sporty's Hello all you lovely people! We hope this finds you well and healthy, having fun barring all that is happening in the world right now. Sporty's is going at full swing except a couple of avenues. "Steak Night" being one of them. With Covid numbers on the rise, and of course the "No Dancing" rule still in affect accompanying the rollout of Phase 4. Right now we think it the time to hang back and be safe. With any luck we will be able to have a p...arty or two before summer's end but we refuse the put anyone at risk. Even though the Motto up here this summer seems to be "2 beers and we're all huggin"! Hey all you Steak Night people!! We hope this finds well, healthy. With the rollout of the provinces phase 3.5 we are still limited to what we can do. So not only do we want to keep people safe, but we also want to keep people happy. The places like restaurants, cafe's, bar's, the business's that of course have not got the opportunity to open yet seem to be getting hit the hardest. Lord knows it seems that none of the rules seem to apply to the bigger stores of the wor...ld but that is nor hear or there at the moment. Here at Sporty's the safe being of our customers, staff and all the Sporty's family is of paramount importance. So this is why we decided to hold off on our decision regarding the Steak Night (or as we will call it in 2020, the FRIDAY NIGHT PROTEST) until phase 4 has been announced. We are hoping this will be by July 17. We apologize for this news, but of course feel strongly about it being the right call at this time. We will keep you posted, but in the meantime, drop in and see all the new Reno's and say hello. See you all soon.

Sporty's Market Update! Hello one and all, this weekend we embark on our first Market of the year. This year we will NOT be doing Sunday Markets with the exception of long weekends. These Sunday markets will be held on July 5th, August 2nd and September 6th only. Social Distancing will be in place and practiced, all Vendors will also be asked to practice both the 6.5' rule, distancing and hand sanitization. Vendors should have sanitizer on their tables. There will be a ...hand washing station at the entrance to the Market building as well as the restrooms. We will be limiting the number of people in the Market building to 75 at one time and the order of tables will be altered slightly both inside and out. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and thank you for your help in keeping this great community event alive and well! See you Saturday.

Water update and Golf Carts As far as the water goes, we have it all up and running. We are still on a boil water advisory. We are awaiting one more test result before we can give you all the go ahead. Please boil prior to drinking until we get the final test result back. GOLF CARTS ... Parents are responsible for all children on their golf carts. We have received many complaints in this regard as of late. We hate to have to do this but for your children's safety and the safety of others, we now need to lay down a few rules. Anyone not following the rules will be asked to remove their cart from Sporty's. All drivers must be at least 13 years of age and drive responsibly. We have asked concerned parties to snap a pictures of the carts and people not following rules. Any and all drivers under the age of 13 MUST be accompanied by an adult. No standing on carts or hanging off the sides. If you have seating for two, then only two are allowed. No standing, or hanging off carts. Carts must stay off peoples lots and off of all grass. Carts must stay on paved or gravel roads, NO driving on paths. Carts must have lights! If they do not, no night driving. Feel free to chime in and leave feedback, this is an issue we take very serious here at Sporty's, please be responsible.

Hi Everyone! Due to Covid-19, the restaurant will be open for take-out only starting on Saturday, May 9th. The public will not be able to enter the clubhouse at... this time so we have set up a take-out window on the west side of the building. Hours for take-out will be from 11:00 am - 7:00 pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for the rest of May except on the May long weekend when we will be open on The Monday as well. Hello from the Lake. The snow was going away at a rapid rate and then all of a sudden winter is back! Roads are still closed up here ladies and gents. Once the snow goes, we will give the roads a day or two to dry up and of course let you know. As of today, it will be business as usual come mid May. Covid 19 has changed our lives, of course it has. Be smart, be diligent, stay at home or isolate for the time being and with any luck we will beat this thing. Hello and greetings to all of our summer friends and family. More than ever, we hope this finds you well and very healthy! These are fairly wild times here in Manitoba, Canada and over the globe. We want everyone to know that we are thinking about you guys and sure do look forward to some form of normalcy in the upcoming weeks. Be diligent, be positive and be clean I guess is the message we have all been hearing. This is a message we are taking seriously as we always... do when it comes to the health and welfare of our guests, friends & family. We will keep our eye on things for sure, but as of right now we will be up and going in May. The roads up here are still covered so if you feel like taking a drive up here in your spare time. Know that you will have to park in the parking lot and hike through a bit of snow.
