Hey people, its Colin! I'm currently looking for ideas for our Social Meet Up shenanigans rounds, I have a couple ideas brewed up that I think you guys will love, but I'm also open to suggestions. We would also like to hear from the Juniors and their parents as to what they would like to see this year. We have done a little bit of talking ourselves, and would like to work more with the fundamentals of the sport after seeing the amount of interest we had last year. ... Well it looks like our first inaugural season is officially over. Without being able to secure a spot for winter league, we are all gonna take a little breather this winter, and start gearing up for next season!! We would like to thank everyone that has made this first year possible. It was one weird season, not one we would have expected when we first started looking at forming this club, but one where we got to learn and grow as a club. Weather is supposed to be great on Sunday, so how about a meet up for some winter disc golf? If the forecast stays true, how about we meet at 1pm, following all social distancing protocols ( 2 meters apart, no groups bigger than 4, no touching of others discs, bring hand sanitizer) and have a little winter fun! Who's in??!!

It's gonna be another great night for Grove Graveyard Golf!! Not sure how many of these great days we have left, but let's make the most it!! Once again, will be setting up at about 6:30 at the tables by basket 3, and teeing off about 7:00pm. $10 if you need lights, $5 if you have lights, or are borrowing discs. If we can get more than 2 full groups, we will have some prizes for closest to the pin and longest putt contest. ... Hope to see everyone there, and lets get out and have some fun!!

Meeting up at the picnic tables by hole 3 again tonight at 6:30 I dont see any comments on last night's post so I'm assuming everyone saved their batteries and lights from last week..? Hopefully..? Guys? Anyone? Little change in pricing aswell, if you kept your lights, and don't need any, the cost is now $5, if you need new lights, the cost is $10. Grove Graveyard Golf tomorrow, 7ish start time. With that being said, will anyone be there that wasn't on Friday? I'd like to get an idea of how many more lights we will need... You animals went through 30 last week. So. Post up in the comments section with what you'll need. A little change, instead of doing payouts, which favours the more experienced players, we will be doing Closest to the pins and long drive side games for brand new discs, and cash. Hole 1 will be a CTP,... and hole 4 will be longest Putt. Hole 1's prize is a new Tour Series Zone, the longest putt will earn you $20. If you need to re-tape your lights on please come a bit earlier, we will have Tuck Tape this time so no mucking around with that temperature sensitive packing tape. Colin.

Unless we get some more interest in glow league, we will have to cancel tonight. We want to keep bringing you guys a grand ole time until the snow flies but unfortunately If we don't get the interest we can't do that..

I would like to get a show of hands of who will be coming Friday for our first Grove Graveyard Glow meetup. This is to see how many batteries we need to buy for the lights we will be using. I highly recommend using a limited amount of discs. 1 midrange, 1 driver, and putters.... well we don't really need to put lights on them, you get the point. Basically your favourite discs. Comment if you plan on coming, and also add the number of discs you want to be lit up in your comm...ent. There will be a players pool for GGG, so if you would like to be in the running for some cash, bring 10 bucks! $4 goes to the club (to help pay for lights and glow sticks), $1 for the acepot, and $5 into the players pool. If you want to see what glow golf is like before Friday, come on out to Rundle Park, Joey Wilson and friends set up a fun 9 hole layout every week. Its honestly more fun than regular disc golf! Well, it feels funny not having a social night tonight, but life calls, and we will be meeting up Friday night this week instead of Wed. Come meet us at Jubilee Park for some Glow Disc Golf Friday night at 7pm! Will be teeing of at 715pm. Come check it out, and have a blast!!

We've seen really great numbers so far for Provincial Doubles. We've got two Mixed Doubles Teams so far, but we suspect we'll see a couple more before Oct 15. ...Women's Only Division We've also added the FA1 division to see if we can muster some Women's Only division players to partner up. You'll play the challenging Red Courses, which is a mix of Blue Tees and Reds. The FA1 label only helps with team scoring. We haven't historically had a good run on women's only teams at provincials but I'm sensing we might have some regional rivalries forming. Time will tell. We're going to make it even more tempting by discounting Women's Only Teams $20 on team entry. So that's $30 for your team! Registration closes October, 15. Teams are capped at 36. We're currently at 21 teams. Tickity-tock, folks. Divisions aren't capped.
