Hello all. Please be advised that the TRA facilities at the Summit Square complex is required to adhere to Provincial Health orders and with that only members of the same house hold may play together at one time. This is a temporary restriction that will be reassessed on December 7th as per the announcement from Public Health. Please remember currently no drop in are permitted, registered members only. Also please ensure that you take advantage of the sanitizing products available at the courts if you do play. Sanitizing surfaces such as the court door, your equip both before and after you play. If you do not have a household member to play and are concerned about your paid membership please contact me directly at 250-975-1213. Stay safe everyone!

We had a great time in Prince Rupert at the 5th annual Feel the Love squash tournament. Thank you for yet another well organized, and super fun event. Terrace managed to take home the overall trophy this year too with just about every participant from Terrace placing in the tournament. Great job - lets keep it up, Terrace! Looking forward to the Smithers tournament coming up in April - stay tuned for dates.

Hello all! We have been busy getting the court ready for another awesome season of squash. We have new LED lights installed in Court 1. Also the pesky door lock has been replaced and the door refitted properly. For folks who's membership lapsed during the summer feel free to reach out to me or simply e-transfer your fees to [email protected]. Add a note to the e-transfer that includes your name so we know where the money came from :-)... Our new lock is a keyless entry so once your fees are up to date you will be given a code. For those folks who are still active please message me asap and I will give you the new door code. You may also have a key rather than a code if you prefer.

Get Back into Squash! The TRA is please to announce events beginning shortly this fall. Fitness Class will be Mon/Wednesday 6 pm to 7 pm. Free for members and non members pay a $6 fee.... Drills & Skills will be help Saturdays at 10 am for two hours. Both events run from Monday September 9th to October 26th (6 weeks). Box league will be starting up October 1st - Get your name on the draw and play your heart out! Please contact us through our Facebook page if you have any questions.

Hello folks - Two major issues regarding access to the court at the moment... 1 - The door directly into the court is experiencing technical difficulties. I will do what I can to get this fixed but this may not occur until early next week. 2 - Summit square is embarking on a big project to swap out all of the windows in the complex and currently are using the gym for storage. As a safety measure they have shut down access to the gym. If you had a old set of keys please conta...ct me and we will get you setup with a key/code for the side door as soon as it is fixed up. The 2019 Feel the Love Squash Tournament was a huge success! We set a new attendance record with 42 entries, 14 of which played in the event for the first time. The Team competition was won by Team Rupert, narrowly beating out Team Smithers by the slimmest of margins: two points. Team Terrace made a surge on the final day but it wasnt quite enough to surpass the two front runners. In all fairness to Team Terrace, Team Smithers had two extremely talented brothers from Calgary added to their roster that accumulated a massive amount of points for them. Without the Calgary brothers It quite likely would have been Terrace pushing Team Rupert to the limit. Regardless, everyone battled hard, played fair and had and excellent time in our fine city. The individual events and Team Competition final results are as follows:

Although their team didnt place first, they still brought home a trophy.

Hello squashers! The TRA will be hosting a player clinic on Saturday February 9th from 9am to 11am. Our clinic facilitator is none other than our very own Steve Hawyes. The cost per person is $40.with a limit of 6 participants.Please PM myself If you would like to register. If we end up with a waitlist we will look at scheduling another session shortly after.
