Stand in front of a mirror, hold two pens. If your pens face straight forward congratulations you can continue on with pressing. The #1 pressing exercise I want you to add to your program if you aren’t doing them already is PUSHUPS!! Yes you heard correctly no fancy bars, dumbbells, or grip. Good old fashion PUSHUPS are great for maintaining shoulder health, and pressing power. Incorporate a variety of different pushups in your program including: hands elevated, on ground, feet elevated, weighted, unstable surface, and hand widths. Use combinations of these factors to increase the difficulty! Drop by SST for more variations and make an old exercise new again.
