On November 13th, 2020, we learned of updates to our regional response to the province’s new, colour-coded COVID-19 response framework (COVID-19 Response Framework: Keeping Ontario Safe and Open). This change takes effect at 12:01 AM on Monday, November 16th, 2020. The Stratford Y and St. Marys YMCA will be moving to the YELLOW - PROTECT level of classification. What does this mean for you?... - Face coverings required at all times, except when exercising -Increased spacing between members to 3m in common workout spaces -Class sizes limited to 10 people per room indoors -Collection of contact information for all members -All visits to the Y must be booked ahead of time. For group fitness, pool, and courts, this will continue through GameTime (in Stratford) . For the conditioning centres and St.Marys group fitness classes screeners will book members into spaces upon arrival. We appreciate that these changes impact your experience of the Y, and we’re committed to working with you to make these changes as seamless as possible. Royal Canadian Legion Perth Regiment Veterans Branch 236 St Marys had some very special guests today. Three young sisters worked extremely hard in a fund raisin...g effort, wanting to raise funds for "the soldiers". To say they were successful would be quite an understatement as they handed the Legion a cheque for $1579.00, plus $20.00 cash. That is quite an achievement for such young ladies.
