Delaying Sunday’s walk until Monday was the right thing to do. Everyone enjoyed the Monday Riverbend walk. It wasn’t too cold and the trails were mostly clear...ed. And the staggered start worked well. It was great! I also attended the Trekkers walk today and walked 7km. Weather wasn’t the best but I think everyone loved the fresh air and the special significance of where we walked on November 10. My Dad was in Europe with the Canadian forces in WW2 as many of our fathers were. And I lost an Uncle in the war. So this is a time to recognize the sacrifices of many. Two more walks this week. Again, we are using the staggered start and bear with us as we tune this new way of doing things. Especially note the change in times for the various groups. And remember it is winter walking. Probably 4 layers of clothes and grippers for your feet are in order. See you there. Northern Lights walk postponed a day and note changed to start times according to the walk you chose to do that day.

Always fun to read about walks with our sister club, Northern Lights. Or is it our brother club?
