Call for Submissions! Stage 88 is currently accepting submissions for their 2020/21 season. This season will include a main stage show at the Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts in Brantford. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for directing, and have a play they’ve been dying to have put to stage. At this time, we are accepting scripts to be considered. If you have something you would like to direct, please send us a brief synopsis, any casting requiremen...ts, the basic staging of the show, as well as why you want to direct this show for Stage 88. Any show submitted may be considered for our main stage show. Visit our website, www.stage88.ca, to review our past productions to get an idea of the type of shows Stage 88 produces. All submissions must take into consideration our Mission, Vision and Purpose: Mission: Stage 88, born of the Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts, is a theatrical performance companythat entertains while fostering and enhancing cultural experiences by providing professional calibre productions. Auditions coming up for Grandview Theatre Company AUDITIONS - ROMEO & JULIET, GRANDVIEW THEATRE COMPANY Grandview Theatre Company is pleased to announce auditions for our 2020 site-immersive, modernized production of Romeo & Juliet, written by William Shakespeare and adapted by Victoria Hudson-Muir. The production will be set in a nightclub in downtown Brantford, and will illuminate rising local violence through Shakespeare’s classic story.... Both Equity and non-Equity performers will be seen. We are committed to inclusive casting, and encourage artists of all backgrounds and ethnicities to apply. Please note - at this time we are only looking to see artists who reside in, or have a strong connection to, Brantford, County of Brant, Six Nations of the Grand River and/or Missassaugas of the Credit.
