Mountain Honey from mountain man @andrew__moyer. The most local of local honeys produced in very limited quantities, unfiltered, hand spun & raw. You can come taste it in our food or buy your own at @fol.epi while it lasts.

Susumaniello huh? This was a very obscure blending grape used in the south of Italy. It was on the verge of extinction because the plunk wine producers didn’t like the fact that it’s yields dropped off after about ten years. Then it dawned that maybe this is a good thing & indeed it was. It’s plantings are on the rise but these particular vines are about 25 years old. Though grown in the south it drinks like a wine of Piedmont with good tannin, structure & acidity. It’s filled with complexity & red fruits yet what I like most is that it still shows a southern Italy price point. #stagefernwood
