If a friend ever tells you that a vacant space is fine when selling a property....RUN and get a new friend!!! Tatyana from Staging and Styling absolute kille...d it at our new construction condo listing at 550 North Service Road in Grimsby! Buyers can now visualize their furniture in the space because they have physical pieces here to reference. Yes it costs money to stage but a quicker sale and for more money is a pretty cool return on investment too

Our Favourite White Paint Colours @benjaminmoore : . White Dove by Benjamin Moore OC-17 - neutral off white, with more gray vs warmer Cloud White. It’s so versatile - can be used for trim, kitchen cabinets as well as walls. Tip: to make a room appear taller- use White Dove both for trim and walls at the same time but with different sheen textures. . Decorators White by Benjamin Moore CC-20 cool off white colour with a light hint of gray, works great for trim especially... when combined with grays. . Paper White by Benjamin Moore OC- 55 looks beautiful on walls, creating fresh but not as bright white- a creamy version of a cool gray. Works well with cool tones of blue, grays and greens. . Oxford White by Benjamin Moore CC-30- not too creamy not too stark. It works well with warm and cool neutrals that would please both modern or classic aesthetic. . Silver Satin by Benjamin Moore OC-26- a part of the Off-White collection. it has been an absolute favourite for us this year, it is soft, slightly warm gray. It is a chameleon, depending on other materials in the room, it can be soft and warm making a space airy, but if paired with certain grays, this colour can be more taupe. . When choosing any paint make sure you learn about the undertones and consider colour temperature. Warm colours tend to create cozy or energetic atmosphere vs. cool colors often appear fresh and soothing. See more

Myths and Facts about Home Staging: . MYTH: Home Staging is a fancy word for cleaning and decluttering. FACT: even though these are important first steps in getting a home ready for market, this in itself is not staging. Staging professional will help you to decide what to keep, what to pack , how to improve the flow, how to update the house to make the property more attractive. . MYTH: Home staging costs too much. FACT: it does cost, but it also pays. Most staged home...s sell faster and for more money , the cost of staging is also way less than the first price adjustment. . MYTH: I will list my house first and then stage if it doesn’t sell. FACT: first impressions are important! The greatest buzz about a house is generally when it’s just listed. Using this opportunity to sell fast is highly recommended. . MYTH: A home stager’s job is to remove everything in a home and bring new things. FACT: professional home stagers will do their best to use existing furniture & accessories first. Often, a little re-arranging can work wonders. A stager will recommend to add new furniture only if the scale is wrong or the condition of the existing one is not attractive. . MYTH: Home Stagers always suggest to paint rooms beige and grey. FACT: we recommend neutrals but definitely not a colour of the year you can see with popular paint brands. Currently grey is stepping down and being replaced with whites ( and there are millions of variations of white), we look at your floors, cabinets, light fixtures and then recommend what would work best. . MYTH: Home Staging is a way to fool buyers. FACT: it’s the complete opposite! The goal is to provide buyers with a home they are dreaming about and looking for. The seller is still required to disclose any major flaws, but home staging will help to minimize minor flaws by drawing the focus to the best features of the house. It helps to see the potential.
