This is the second time during the pandemic that I have had the unpleasant task of advising the membership that the Branch will be closed, effective Friday November 27th for at least a 3- week period. This decision that was not made lightly, but the most recent Provincial COVID-19 restrictions announced November 24th make it impossible for the Branch to continue on in a manner that would meets the needs of the membership. I am hoping that in 3 weeks the Provincial restrictio...ns will be modified so that the Branch can reopen. During the closure, Kelley’s Kitchen will be providing curb-side pickup service. Watch for upcoming notices in the Newsletter. Please continue to support Kelley’s as much as you can. By doing so you help Kelley, and you are also helping the Branch. While the Branch is closed, the office will remain open. So, if you need to pay your dues, are looking for a Legion mask for a stocking stuffer or have inquiries, Leslie or Eileen will be there to assist. Stay safe. Cde Doug Delorme - President

If you are looking for a project to do with your little ones over the Fall Break. A message from our President, Doug Delorme to our membership and the residents of #StAlbert. Remembrance Day is soon upon us. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, our open house that follows the Remembrance Day ceremony will be very different. This year’s attendance will be limited to 100 persons in the building at any time. Once the Colour Party has entered the Branch, members and guests may enter. Priority will be given to Branch 271 Legion members that participated in the ...ceremony along with invited guests and other Branch members and veterans. Both members and guests will need to sign in at the sign-in table.
