Santa's Christmas Village Hot Chocolate and Selfies with Santa Cancellation: Due to the increase number of cases in our province and the recommendation from gov...ernment to avoid public gatherings as much as possible, the Town is taking increased precautionary measures to protect our residents in the spread of COVID-19. Santa’s Christmas Village will remain lit and open to the public between December 8 January 5, 5pm 10pm each evening, however for this season only, hot chocolate service and selfies with Santa are cancelled. Our staff have worked diligently with the COVID-19 Business Response Team and while unfortunate, we feel this is the appropriate action during these difficult times. Our Recreation Committee is working to create a safer opportunity for the EVERYONE in our Community to see Santa while avoiding large gatherings. We will have further details on this event soon. Please take the time to enjoy Holy Cross Park this Christmas, bring your own hot chocolate, and do your part to keep yourself and others safe this Christmas.
