Successful candidates are self-motivated individuals who possess excellent technical sewing and fitting skills. They have expertise in tailoring a garment in order to ensure the best possible fit. Stella’s Bridal will host interviews over the next week. Alterations Specialist’s Responsibilities: Perform customer garment fittings to Stella’s Bridal’s high standards. Perform all types of alterations on: bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses, and special occasion dresses. Possess the manual dexterity needed to sew and perform fittings. Press, steam, and spot clean garments. Inspect all garments prior to delivery to our clients. Possess a flexible schedule in order to work retail hours including weekends and evenings. Possess the ability to: move throughout the store, lift up to 10 pounds, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, stand, and reach.
