We hit up @stelviotoronto in Toronto to try something different from the usual pizza and pasta that is commonly associated with being Italian cuisine. It was so delicious! The dishes we tried were the Ossobucco with Saffron Risotto (pic 1), and a mild beef stew with polenta (pic 2). Both were so homey, hearty and flavourful. Hubby who doesn’t care for Italian much, said he prefers northern Italian to regular Italian anyday!... My first time trying Northern Italian cuisine and it was unsurprisingly delicious Although, this huge schnitzel which is @stelviotoronto ‘s special dish and called ‘Elephant Ear' definitely caught my eyes first mind you, the schnitzel is not actually an elephant ear!! It is named after the size of an elephant ear and served with tomatoes and some sauce. What I like most about it was the thinness of the meat which actually added to the crispness REPOST: @mystylefoodpicks.to
