No matter where you are in the world, you can do a poetry dive with us. The Glimmers of Light poetry dive, offered by the Ottawa Poetry Bards for free with optional donation, happens over zoom at 6:30 tonight Ottawa time. Half of donations collected go to St. Luke's. Half go to Shepherds of Good Hope. And, you don't need to be on zoom live to participate. Everyone who registers gets an electronic file of 50 poetry cards on the theme, AND an audio recording of the dive. Take a magic carpet ride into the substance of mystery and delight by immersing yourself in spoken poems and music. Register on Eventbrite. Share with anyone who might be interested.

In response to COVID-19, all public worship has been suspended until April 5th. Please share the message that there will be no service at St. Luke’s for the next three Sundays.

Great news! Especially if you aren't able to be with us live. If you register for the upcoming poetry dive on Tuesday October 20, you'll receive an electronic poetry deck on the theme, AND an audio of the dive, which you can experience again and again. One of the advantages of offering this over zoom. Hope you'll join. Please pass the word!

Thanks to the over 40 people who came out for the backyard art open studio on Sunday. We raised $500 for St. Luke's Table. Congratulations to Karen McNair for... winning the raffle. Many of the small paintings and cards found good homes. I saw that some of the larger paintings were starting to beckon some of you. If you are considering adopting a larger painting, I want you to know that I'm happy for you to borrow it for a day or two to check it out, or to support you in hanging it. All larger paintings can be rented for a period of time as well, or you can rent to buy... which means that your rental goes towards the purchase price. It's a great way to freshen up your space and help me make room to create more art at the same time. If you weren't able to make it, individual studio visits are always welcome. And... if you're interested in growing your own art-making with the support of individualized art lessons or mentoring, let me know. As a life coach and artist, I can help you overcome whatever's holding you back.
