TOAD RIVER RETREAT 2019 I just want to say thank you so much for attending the Toad River Retreat. It was a big success, and your participation meant a lot to m...e. It was an honour to have each one of you in attendance. I will never forget this trip and how it made me feel. It was not the mountains we conquered but ourselves. These events are meant to inspire people to enjoy the mountains the best way they can. This week was filled with inspiration for others to get outside and to show them they are more capable of enjoying the great outdoors, as well as giving them the survival tips needed to enjoy them in the wild and stay safe. I chose mountains to find my passion in because their beauty is unlike anything else on this planet. I swear I can feel every bit of stress and worry melt away with each step. To me, mountains are absolute peace and happiness. The rush when you get to the top and the sense of accomplishment is a feeling that I will never find anywhere other than mountains. No matter how hard the hike, it is worth the struggle each time. They remind me what is important in life. At the same time, at the top of the mountain is where I see how small we all really are and what matters. I always dreamed of hosting retreats. My dreams finally came true. I cant even begin to describe the feeling of gratitude to everyone who was involved in making this happen. A HUGE shout out goes to Kellie/Leif Olsen for letting us host this retreat at the beautiful Stone Mountain Safaris Lodge they get to call home. Another huge shout out goes to Jeremy my love for putting up with the nights of stress, believing in me, having my back every step of the way and helping my dreams come true.

2020 schedule for the all-inclusive Toad River Retreats. Early bird registration will be opening soon! My season is coming to an end, but with that in mind, it's time to start planning for 2020!

Is it time to escape reality and plan a trip to the mountains? I created these events for people to escape reality for a weekend without the distraction of a c...ellphone. (I am bad for this) I let work/social media take over my "home time" more than it should. This event is for people to interact with others across our country (BIG GOALS AHEAD ) and to explore this side of BC together. I've had people come from all over British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan so far. I truly believe we live in one of the most beautiful places on earth. When you watch someone see the Northern Rockies for the first time it makes my heart fill right up. To remind myself to never take this place I get to call home for granted. To always be grateful for our beautiful backyard. This will always be one of my favourite WHYS! On these retreats we laugh, we share stories, and we all have a really good time (theme night especially). From the minute you wake up there is coffee and breakfast waiting for you. Those dishes you don't want to deal with are dealt with. The morning yoga lets you prep those muscles for the hike ahead of us that day! The meals alone are delicious and made with love for every individual with certain dietary needs. Your heart and stomach will be filled for your drive home on that Monday I can promise you that! For you busy moms. This is what dreams are made of is what I've been told. Maybe you like yoga and have never gone to a yoga retreat before? Maybe you just want to see BC from a different view? All you have to do is show up and enjoy your weekend. This all-inclusive weekend is what you need to help you reset and get that cure all mountain fresh air. For inquiries please email or PM me.
