In this video, Brandon discusses pronation and supination. People usually hear these terms in reference to the feet. They’re often told, your over pronating or ...over supinating. Pronation and supination are not a bad thing! Pronation and supination actually occur throughout the entire body, not just the feet. For example, the knees, trunk, and neck all pronate and supinate. Often, if a client is having trouble with their foot in pronation or supination, Brandon will take a look if there is a lack of pronation or supination in other areas of the body. If that’s the case, the foot may be compensating for those other areas, leading to movement limitation and pain.
