Live in Strathcona and have young trick-or-treaters? Join us for trick-or-treating at local businesses and safe Halloween activities and entertainment in the 800 Block of East Hastings. Happening Saturday, October 31st from 3pm-5:30pm. It’s the... perfect pre-Halloween event for families. This event will be operating under BC CDC COVID-19 guidelines and protocols. That means the trick-or-treat walking route will flow in one direction only and all candy will be sealed and handed out with tongs by local employees decked in PPE and costumes of course! We’ll have a fun, COVID-safe outdoor activity zone set up along the route, plus hot apple cider will be provided along the way. More financial supports are now available for SMEs in BC. The Small and Medium Sized Business Recovery Grant is open and receiving applications. The goal is to help businesses with long-term recovery, investing up to $300 million in targeted financial support for some of the hardest hit businesses in B.C.
