From Monday, October 19th to Saturday, October 31st we are encouraging kids to keep their eyes open for Jack-O-Lantern decals displayed in 33 of our local shops’ windows. Spooktacular Scavenger Hunt Clue 15 of 33 This year marks their 25th anniversary. Here you will find a variety of unusual home accessories, accent furniture, gifts, personal accessories, and floral arrangements... You can download your Spooktacular Map and Ballot on our website www.villageofstreetsville.com Once children have found all the decals then they can drop off their filled in Scavenger Hunt sheets in the Streetsville BIA mailbox, located at 280 Queen Street South, to be entered for a chance to win 1 of 50 Halloween Treat Baskets! Winners will be drawn after Halloween and will be contacted on how they can claim their prize. *Parent Disclaimer* Our Spooktacular Scavenger Hunt will be completely contactless and will NOT require children to enter any of the participating businesses as proof of finding the Jack-O-Lantern. The decals will be located on the windows which will be visible from outside all participating businesses.

The Royal Canadian Legion’s 2020 National Poppy Campaign is happening now. In most locations, traditional poppy boxes will accept coins and donors will receive poppies as usual. Because of the challenges presented by COVID-19 restrictions, the Streetsville Legion Branch 139 will not be placing volunteers at business entrances and other public locations. Close to 20 million dollars is donated during the National Poppy Campaign each year, and goes directly into supporting Veter...ans. This year Branch 139 is asking that donations be made to support the Poppy Campaign. Please donate by cheque payable to "Streetsville Legion Branch 139".
