Street Wise has Saturday classrooms happening in Red Deer, with the aim to host about one series per month. These classes are held at our largest venue, making social distancing the easiest. We’re still encouraging students to choose the online classroom option, but we understand that doesn’t work for everyone. These classrooms do require pre-registration, and will be limited to 14 students. Students from all service areas are welcome to attend, and then complete the driving lessons from their hometowns. This should bring down wait times and greatly simplify the process of booking road tests.

Good news everyone! We are starting our re-launch this week, with a few new safety protocols in place. The guidelines that we are following are similar to those that the Alberta Government has recommended for barbers and hairstylists since they work in similar proximity to clients as us. Most of our instructors will start booking immediately, but some have opted to wait a couple weeks, so please be patient as we are trying to ease back into our working routine. Also, please... try to prioritize yourselves, we'd like to see students that will be first in line for testing (when it resumes) and students that are in desperate need of certificates to get in the car first. For the moment, our in-class classrooms are still shutdown, but if your student was in the middle of a classroom course when this pandemic hit, we can offer you a free online course to complete that portion of the course, or you can wait for normal classroom instruction to resume. Our office service has been cut to a minimum during the pandemic, but should be getting back to normal soon. Please be patient, we are doing our best to make this work for everyone involved, and to do so as safely as possible. Here's our list of safety guidelines for instruction to happen. Hopefully we'll be able to relax a little in the near future.
