"Lake Louise (named Ho-run-num-nay (Lake of the Little Fishes) by the Stoney Nakota First Nations people) is a glacial lake within Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada. Lake Louise is named after the Princess Louise Caroline Alberta (18481939), the fourth daughter of Queen Victoria and the wife of the Marquess of Lorne, who was the Governor General of Canada from 1878 to 1883. The turquoise colour of the water comes from rock flour carried into the lake by melt-water from... the glaciers that overlook the lake. Hi all! I've been a bit quiet on social media the past month or so as there are a couple of things I've been working on, the first of which I’m very excited, ne...rvous and all the rest of it, to introduce to you, the Tom, Stu and You, Podcast. My good friend Tom Westhead and I have been working pretty hard putting together this podcast and we both hope that you’ll find it to be of interest and that you engage with the content and what we have to say. We would like this to be a platform upon which we talk about a number of topics and issues from political, social and economic issues right through the spectrum to what we all enjoy doing in our spare time. We’ll be talking about anything and everything I’m sure. I hope that it opens up an avenue for respectful and fact-based debate, where anyone having conflicting views with myself or Tom can talk things through and arrive at a consensus, compromise or way forward where possible. At the very least, we just want to have a laugh, chat with our friends, and make something that others might enjoy listening to.
