Hello CGU Eastern Student Conference participants, Here is a final conference schedule and poster presentation list which will also be posted on the CGU event Facebook page. Registration opens at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday morning in the Physics and Astronomy Building (PAB) atrium. Parking is free on the weekend at the Springett and Huron College parking lots. Please refer to the attached campus map for parking and venue locations highlighted in yellow. The registration fee is $...10 per person to partially offset costs for refreshments and lunch. Posters will be set up in the morning in the PAB atrium, while oral presentations will take place in PAB room 100 throughout the day. Coffee breaks will be provided, and we encourage you to bring your own re-usable mug. Lunch will be provided at 12:30 p.m. If you have any further questions, please direct them to [email protected]. If you are planning to arrive for the evening of Friday, March 16 for our social event at Western, there are many accommodation options. Some that we recommend are: https://windermeremanor.com http://guesthouseonthemount.ca... http://www.stationparkhotel.com The Station Park has suites that could accommodate an entire lab, and welcomes you as guests of Western, offering you the Western Corporate Rate. Simply identify yourself as attending a conference at Western and you will be offered Western's rate! (this will vary depending on the size of the suite). There are 30 rooms currently available as of today for Friday, March 16.

Western University (www.uwo.ca) is hosting this year's Canadian Geophysical Union Eastern Student Conference. Space availability issues (who knew Saturdays on university campuses were so busy!) and some logistical challenges have meant that we are off to a bit of a late start; however, our confirmed date for the meeting is Saturday, March 17, 2018.
