Stupefied Theatrical Productions

That's right!!!! Brand new cast AND re-written. So, if you saw the show four years ago you're in for a treat the 2nd time around because some things have changed at Little Valley Middle school.

It's that time again! A little later due to the pandemic but we are not letting that dampen our Theatrical spirits!!! Classes began last year in person right up until Christmas with our theatre exercises and games and we have been preparing for our auditions in our Zoom class since the beginning of this month. Our Teen Broadway production will be cast in just a few short weeks. Break legs everyone!!! We know you can do it!!! All of our teens have been guaranteed a role in the production they just have to be cast in a particular role. #welovetoplay #theatreisoursport

It's time to look back on 2020 and let's leave it behind. We were fortunate to be able to have our production 'How the Lynch Stole..." back in February at the theatre but then the pandemic hit and moved all 3 of our programs to Zoom classes which was very tough on everyone mostly because we couldn't be together. Friends were missing one another. Then in August we moved to outdoor classes and in Oct we were able to produce all 3 of our productions for Kinder Drama Stages, Inte...rmediate Youth Drama Group and our Teen Broadway shows outside at our stage in Elgin Park. It wasn't ideal to do "Shakespeare in the Park" style BUT it guaranteed our students DID get a chance to perform which was amazing because every other theatre program shut down and cancelled all of their shows. For that I am thankful because each and every one of our students deserved to perform no matter what the venue. Something was better than nothing. I look back on 2020 with sadness but also with a lot of pride and I am eager for what 2021 has in store for all of us at Stupefied. It will be a Stupefied year we just need to be patient, optimistic, and just keep "playing". Which we will be doing in Jan with a few Zoom classes and then back together again end of Jan. Enjoy your time with your immediate family and let's be thankful for what we DO have. Prayers to everyone who is struggling right now. A better year in 2021 is ahead. It may take some time but we can get through it! Thinking about everyone at this time.

The program's key goals is to build more confident children, boost their self esteem, courage, teach them skills in the theatre world that directly benefit them in school and out in their everyday live...s. Not every child has to have a singing and dancing role. If they prefer just to act there is always room for that as well. THIS IS AN ALL INCLUSIVE CHILDREN'S EDUCATIONAL THEATRE PROGRAM. MANY PROGRAMS AVAILABLE FOR GRADE SK TO 4 ON SATURDAY MORNINGS AND GRADE 5 TO 8 FOR AN AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM ON MONDAY'S AND WEDNESDAY'S OR ON TUESDAY'S AND THURSDAY'S! THE BEST THING ABOUT THE AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM IS THAT IT'S FLEXIBLE. CHOOSE 2 OF ANY OF THE FOUR DAYS OF THE WEEK. MIX AND MATCH THEM! NEW TEEN BROADWAY PROGRAM FOR AGES 13-19. A MARCH BREAK AND TWO; 2 WEEK SUMMER THEATRE BOOT CAMPS ARE ALSO AVAILABLE! WE LOVE TO "PLAY" & WE SAVE THE DRAMA FOR THE STAGE!

Sooooo, excited that part of Stupefied Theatrical Productions program starts back up again next week! The students and parents have been dying to get back to "playing" and we couldn't be happier. Our classes are very small for Teen and 2 Intermediate Youth Group classes but hey; again we still get to play! Unfortunately, we have to wait a little longer to begin our Kinder Drama Stages classes due to space availability to hold classes but something is better than nothing. Onward and Upward! #thingswillgetbetterin2021

Classes should be resuming indoors mid November ONLY for our INTERMEDIATE & TEEN programs to start. Space is limited to multiple classes with only 10 students per class.
