Wardrobe Maintenance 101 Shoulder Covers They are perfect if you have an open wardrobe, or you keep your clothes on a rail. You want to protect your clothes so dust doesnt get into the fabric. Shoulder covers are for something quite elegant or kept for a special occasion. For anything delicate, made of silk or have beaded embellishments. Shoulder covers are great for dresses and jackets, the items you dont wear too often.... Wash Bags If you dont have time to hand wash your bras (as most of us dont, I presume ), you need to get yourself a wash bag. Theyll protect and extend the life of your bra. Pop your bra into the bag and then into the washing machine. It protects your bras and it also protects your washing machine too. Bobble Removers Another tool you need is a fabric shaver aka a bobble remover. It will get rid of the pilling on clothing that generally appears under the arm and bust area from friction. It keeps your knits and other fabrics looking like new. Clear shoe boxes Its not a good practice to leave your shoes out, they are not protected and can get banged up and dusty. Clear shoe boxes are a great solution if you have already thrown away the original box. You will be able to see the shoes you own (remember, out of sight, out of mind) and they stack well in your wardrobe. Shoe Trees Shoe tress are a great way to take care of your tall boots. They help air out your boots, are great space savers, and keep your closet organized. They keep your boots in good shape, preventing cracks and creases, extending the life of your boots.

Quick tips on how to look professional for Zoom business meetings Do your makeup because the camera can wash you out. However keep it refined, professional and sophisticated. Nothing over the top. Keep it basic. Wear jewelry. Something thats impactful but not distracting. Adding jewelry will enhance your overall look. It implies you put effort into your appearance and appreciate being at the meeting. ... Look for good lighting. Daylight is always best. If you can, set your meeting up in font of a window. If you cant, just make sure the lighting is soft and directly in front of you. Consider your background. Everyone in the meeting can now see inside your home. Make it clean and clutter free. No messy rooms or laundry piles. Wear a beautiful and flattering solid colour on top. Color is the easiest way to breathe life into your outfits. Wear something that looks really professional on top. A blazer never fails to look polished, crisp and sharp.

Do you ever think about your average work outfit, and how you can elevate your look? #wbw #ootd My work attire is usually pretty casual. I am on my feet throughout the day and Im running around assisting my beautiful, wonderful clients (who I miss very much, btw). ... However I really would like to kick up my wardrobe game. I want to achieve an elevated look, while staying comfortable and productive. I need to figure out how to achieve this economically and practically, and I sure have the time to consider it now. I am going to start by thinking about who my style idols are, whos style I think is really great, or what outfits I like the look of online. Im going to create a mood board on @pinterest so I have visual examples of the looks I want to emulate. Next, I am going to assess my current wardrobe. Go though what I have. Really analyze each piece. Does this item align with the woman I want to be? If the garment doesnt support who I am right now or who I am becoming, it gots to go! I love my clothes and it is hard to let things go. But if something is damaged, out of date, not in-line with my style goals, or I havent worn in gosh knows how long, Ill start making separate piles: charity, friends/family, trash and consignment. Last but not least, Ill make a list of pieces I want to purchase. Anything I have been meaning to get for awhile thatll bring outfits together from my current wardrobe. Ill reference my mood board for inspiration. Ill make sure whatever I get can be worn with things I already own, or can be styled 3 different ways, to really get a bang for my buck. You dont have to have money and you dont have to dress in a suit all the time. Although you do have to embody who you are, and the job that you want. Dress as if your business is where you want it to be when you are out representing yourself. See more

(2020) I love understanding fashion history because it teaches us what inspires the designers. The fashions of the past are a boundless source of insight and ideas. They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and with Emma that is certainly the case. A lot of costumes in the movie are almost direct copies of original dresses, outfits or paintings. Imitating 19th century garments makes the movie all the more authentic.... The black dress that Emma wears when her sister visits, is almost a direct copy of a 1820s Austrian portrait. These are enchanting touches that make the movie much more grounded in the era portrayed. These costumes werent randomly selected, they were most likely carefully selected from thousands of fashion plates, paintings and museums.

Spending time looking for what is missing in your life is futile; if you fail to look within yourself. When we challenge everything we believe we are, we reveal that which we never knew about our own selves. We may not have the gift of revenue, but we have the gift of time. Keep your head up Queen, cant let that crown slip!

How to organize your partners closet (or their side of the closet) in 3 simple steps . 1. Consider each piece. If they havent worn it in a while, its in poor condition, or if it isnt inline with their goals, donate it to charity. 2. Use unified hangers. They not only look nice, they are a space saver, too. 3. Organize into categories. T-shirts together, dress shirts together, pants together, etc. And If you have the space, store away out of season clothing.
