Organizing for the Holidays-Just do one thing a day. This Christmas, tins of biscuits, chocolates & wine will be given to the neighbours and dropped off to good friends. I bought these yesterday and will gift wrap a couple each day.

Risotto is so versatile. Using a base of Arborio rice, some olive oil, white wine and stock, the possibilities are endless. This is a tomato and basil risotto ready in 30 minutes or less. Make extra for leftover, especially good when fried up. Just add a salad for a delicious meal.

Tidbits! Sunday kitchen organization. Waste not, want not also means less time at the grocery store. Squeezed out two blood oranges and added the last of the plums to make a compote. Good with yoghurt for brunch. Freshly squeezed orange juice - ditto. Lemon juice to make a salad dressing and some toasted sesame seeds to add as a topping for a stir fry. What’s in your kitchen?
